Special Needs (Marathon Only)

We understand that marathon runners have unique needs during their long-distance journey. To cater to these needs, we are pleased to offer Special Needs bags exclusively for marathoners at the YRF.

Location:The Special Needs bags will be available for pickup at Aid Station 3
Bag Labelling – see image below:Please ensure that your personal items are packed in a single, clearly labeled bag. We recommend using a clear, re-usable bag to easily identify your belongings
Water Bottle:In addition to your labeled bag, you may include a water bottle if needed. Staying hydrated is essential during a marathon, and this option allows you to have your preferred water bottle ready for use.
Drop-off Time and Location:Please drop off your Special Needs bag and/or water bottle at the YRF Tent no later than 5.00am. This will give our staff enough time to organise the bags and transport them to the designated Aid Station.

Note: It is crucial to adhere to the specified drop-off time to ensure a smooth and efficient process. Late drop-offs may result in the bag not reaching the intended Aid Station on time.

At a specified aid station (to be confirmed once course changes made public), you will be able to access your Special Needs bag and water bottle during the marathon. Take a moment to replenish your supplies, refuel with any personal nutrition items, or grab your own familiar hydration source.
