A full coastal marathon from Anzac Parade through Yeppoon’s oceanfront roads, Wreck Point views, Lammermoor Beach and a festival finish at Yeppoon Lagoon.
Race overview
The YRF Bendigo Bank Yeppoon and Emu Park Marathon is built around the natural beauty and coastal character of Yeppoon. Runners begin on Anzac Parade with the ocean as the backdrop before moving through town, creek crossings, coastal roads and lookout sections.
The marathon is a three-lap course. Each lap takes in Yeppoon Lagoon, Fig Tree Creek, Appleton Drive, Ross Creek, Scenic Highway, Matthew Flinders Drive, Wreck Point Lookout, Lammermoor Beach and the Statue Bay turnaround.
It is a marathon for runners ready to race well on an undulating coastal course—and for those who want a memorable destination event with scenery, sea breeze and strong finish-line energy.

Entry prices increase as race weekend approaches. All prices include administration and processing fees.

Follow a three-lap coastal route through Yeppoon, Wreck Point and Lammermoor Beach before returning to the Lagoon finish line.
Oceanfront start
Begin on Anzac Parade with the coast in view before moving through Yeppoon Lagoon and Fig Tree Creek.
Scenic climb
Move onto Scenic Highway and Matthew Flinders Drive toward Wreck Point Lookout.
Beach section
Run alongside Lammermoor Beach before reaching the Statue Bay turnaround.
Festival finish
Return to Yeppoon Lagoon for the finish area, recovery zone and crowd support.

Bib & timing
Race bib and electronic timing tag. Enter by 4 July 2027 to have your name printed on your bib.

Post-race support and recovery facilities in the finish precinct.

Every finisher receives a finisher medal. The first 2,000 registered participants also receive an official event T-shirt.
Race morning
The Marathon starts at 5:45am on Sunday 25 July 2027, with a six-hour course limit.

Course restrictions
No prams, bikes, scooters, handcycles, crank cycles or wheelchairs are permitted on course, except race wheelchairs.
Marathon placegetters
Male and female placegetters receive trophies plus cash prizes: 1st $500 and Shokz OpenRun2 headphones, 2nd $250 and 3rd $150.
Category winners
First in each age group receives a Category Winner Medal plus a $40 ProFeet voucher. Categories are U/30, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69 and 70+.
