Race Details

Rules: No scooters, bikes or handcycles are to be taken onto the course. Prams are permitted, however, please ensure to seed yourself at the back and be aware of your surrounds so that you do not obstruct runners.

What’s included in the entry fee? The total value of your race entry fee goes directly to our selected charity partner Cooberrie Park Wildlife Sanctuary which takes care of sick, injured and orphaned wildlife; the animals appreciate your support. Complimentary we provide your race bib (cut off for personalised bibs 7 July), post race lollies, water and finishers ribbon (for children). Please note, the event is not timed.

Course Details

The Yeppoon Running Festival Family Fun Run is the perfect way for runners of all ages to enjoy a relaxed, scenic dash along Yeppoon’s beautiful foreshore. Whether you’re jogging with the kids, walking with friends, or simply soaking up the festival atmosphere, this out-and-back course is all about fun and togetherness.

Starting and finishing just outside the Keppel Bay Sailing Club, the course takes you on a picturesque journey around the foreshore parklands, where the lush greenery and open spaces set the tone for a delightful run. You’ll loop past the Yeppoon Lagoon, a popular local landmark, and follow the coastal foreshore path along the beach, with the soothing sound of waves accompanying you.

The route continues along the Esplanade, offering stunning ocean views and the lively energy of the town. At the turnaround point near the amphitheatre, you’ll get a glimpse of the festival’s vibrant hub before heading back the way you came.

As you approach the finish line back at the Keppel Bay Sailing Club, you’ll be greeted by cheers, smiles, and a festive atmosphere that makes this event such a joy to be part of.
